Caring ingredients
Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour Gels are made from 92% naturally derived ingredients including plant and seed oils and extracts that are carefully chosen for their proven hair and scalp enhancing benefits, rather than to just make a “natural” claim.
Cleaner beauty
When creating formulations, Naturtint’s goal is to replace as many synthetic ingredients as possible with plant-based alternatives. These work alongside the essential, but small number of, chemical ingredients including hydrogen peroxide and PPD, required to deliver the best possible permanent hair colour results and finish. Where such synthetic ingredients are required, only the purest and highest quality are used and in as low a level as possible.

Every box of Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour Gel includes a generous, 50ml tube of Quinoa Multi-Care Mask, to deeply nourish hair and lock in your new colour immediately after application, and also in subsequent washes in the weeks following. Multi-care and multi-use, this powerful little hair hero really does complete your colour.

Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour Gels cover 100% of grey, from the very first application, and provide long-lasting, radiant colour and shine. Available in over 30 shades, each is blendable with another so there really is an endless palette to choose from.
Mindful packaging
By attaching the protective gloves to the instruction leaflet and replacing the single-use sachets with a large, multi-application tube of Quinoa Mask, Naturtint has significantly reduced the amount of packaging in its Permanent Hair Colour Gels and Reflex Semi-Permanent Henna Creams.
Open, honest and transparent
Naturtint prides itself in its honesty in ingredients, their inclusion, derivation and absent ingredients. The complete ingredient list of each Naturtint shade or product is clearly displayed on pack, often with each ingredient identified as either Certified Organic, Approved Natural Origin, Natural Origin or other.
Independently verified. The first and only USDA Certified Biobased hair colour
Naturtint Permanent Hair Colours exceed the minimum USDA certified biobased content for Hair Styling Products. The USDA Certified Biobased Product label is a certification mark of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Biobased products are derived from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials. Biobased products are cost-comparative, readily available and perform as well as or better than their petroleum-containing counterparts. Biobased products also help us increase our use of renewable resources while decreasing our use of non-renewable resources, such as petroleum. Read more about the Biobased certification here.
A journey to sustainability
We all need to do more to improve how we treat our planet and Naturtint is no different. Naturtint is on a journey to improve its sustainability and environmental impact and one of their latest steps is to partner the Naturtint 2 in 1 Shampoo Bars (completely plastic-free!) with Oceanidas, a charitable initiative that works with an army of volunteer divers to remove plastic waste from seabeds and beaches.
